Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sort everything before sending photos?

No. Sorting can help, but it is not required. Wide photos of the full collection are a great place to start. If we need more detail, we'll ask.

Do you buy single items?

Sometimes, but we usually focus on collections, groups, shelves, boxes, and larger lots. If you have one higher-value item, you can still send it over and we'll take a look.

What photos should I send?

Send a few wide photos showing everything together, then close-ups of titles, spines, consoles, cards, boxes, labels, or anything that seems important. Clear lighting helps.

Do you pick up locally?

Pickup may be available depending on the collection, location, size, and timing. Send the details and we'll talk through options if it looks like a good fit.

How fast do you respond?

We try to review submissions as soon as we can. Collections with clear photos and good details are usually easier to review quickly.

Do you buy damaged items?

It depends on the item and the amount of damage. Heavy water damage, mold, strong odors, missing pieces, or unsafe conditions may make a collection difficult for us to take.

Can I submit more photos later?

Yes. If we need more pictures, we'll let you know what would help.

What if I do not know what everything is worth?

That's okay. You do not need to know the value of every item before reaching out. Photos and a simple description are enough to start.

Do you buy estate or family collections?

Yes, if the collection includes the kinds of items we focus on. We understand those situations can be sensitive, so we try to keep the process simple and respectful.
